Feedsacks Part 2

So I know all of you were anxiously waiting by your computer wondering what in the world I was going to do with the feedsacks.  Why do they mean so much to me for goodness sake?  They are just material!  Well, let me show you why.

This is why.  Isn't he so stinkin' cute?

OK.  It's a little weird to say that about my dad.  Yep.  That's my dad back in 1958 in second grade.  Remember the "key" print feedsack?  That's why I freaked out when we found this material.  My Meemaw made him this shirt and we still have some left over!

Now it, and the rest of the sack material, is displayed on a lovely green chair.  That was also a find in my Aunt's garage.

This was how it came except for the feedsack I put as a chair bottom to hold the material.  Perfect color and structure even with all the repairs it has had. I took some dollar store frames and spray painted them to display my dad's school pictures.  The other one is from 1st grade but we didn't find that material.  I don't think my heart could have taken that anyway...

If I may say so, your dad is cute, but I do believe I see a sparkle of "mischief" in those eyes!
Thanks for sharing such a special treasure at THT.
